LATEST NEWS

Shock Wave Underground is undergoing a major face lift at the moment. We've had to take measures to improve on download time and remove some of the Java scripts that have caused problems with some browsers. We hope you find it easier and quicker to navigate around the site.
I would be very interested in what you think about the site, the content, the changes and any problems or broken links. If you decide to drop me a line, please indicate the URL of the pages in question and which browser you are using.

MORE NEWS

We had a notification from NetCheck Commerce Bureau saying that Shock Wave Underground has had a number of 'consumers' checking us on their search engines to see if we had any outstanding complaints against us. Shock Wave Underground is not a business, nor does it have any income what-so-ever. In fact, Shock Wave Underground is a constant drain on my resources.

(approx £125+ Sterling/$200 US a month)

I do this because I can and feed off your feedback and support.
Shock Wave Underground is about finding free services available on the WWW where otherwise you might have to pay, and making them available to all.

Why not check yourself out, you might find something you weren't telling yourself.

Mail Monitor
~~~~~~~~~
"This software can be configured with the details of multiple POP accounts. It periodically polls all the accounts and when new mail is found on any one of them, generates an alert. "If you have more than one account, you will find this a lifesaver compared to reconfiguring your mail client every time you want to check each one. This will tell you which account to read""
I use this one myself everyday and recommend it totally. It works in the background and uses very little resources. Go get it.
DUNCE v.2.52
~~~~~~~~~~~~
FREEWARE**FREEWARE**FREEWARE**FREEWARE

Dunce (or Dial-Up Networking Connection Enhancement) allows for much easier dial-up networking than Win95 currently provides. The program will automatically press "connect" for you on the "Connect To" dialog box, redial your Internet Provider indefinitely (even from within another application), and auto-reconnect if you get unexpectedly dropped. Furthermore it can optionally run applications when you are connected and force connections at a given time. Also supports MSN and international versions of Windows. Dunce will also type in your password in the Connect To Dialog.
