Hi,
I'm Kev.
I was born in Waltham Abbey, Essex, UK.
This is where King Harold II of England was buried in 1066 when he socked
an arrow in the eye from the Norman Invaders, led by William the Bastard,
the Conquerer.

I attended
King Harold Secondary Modern School and then moved with my family to North
Devon in the South West of England in the Bideford District, but my heart
is still very much in Waltham Abbey and I make regular pilgrimages there.

I still live in North Devon in a coastal village called Westward Ho!
Named after Charles Kingsley's Book 'Westward Ho!' because he attended
college here, as did Rudyard Kipling. It is also the only place in the
UK that has an exclaimation mark!
Westward Ho! hosts the Royal North Devon Golf Club, as King George V used
to come here regularly to play golf.

The area relies heavily on holidaymakers, or 'grockles' as we call them.
The last few years have been bad due to the recession, but things are starting
to pick up a bit. It is a lovely area to live in with some astounding scenery.
The people are generally friendly and everybody knows everybody. Loads
of gossip abound. It is rumoured that in the neighbouring village of Appledore,
they still eat people, especially the first missionaries that came there.
I used to live there myself, but I can't say I was that hungry, and there's
not that much flesh on me so they left me alone. Mostly.
I work in a small plastic injection moulding factory. I hate every single
moment of this job as I do exactly the same thing EVERY 10-15 seconds for
11 hours a day. It is a never-ending job with no job satisfaction. The
money is good, which is the only reason I stay. If I were a robot, I'm
sure I would be a very happy droid indeed. But I am not!
I would rather work in the computer industry.
E-MAIL ME I'M USER FRIENDLY.
I only bite the first time.
