WOW! This chef-page is great! Only glitch I have come accross is that you can't get back from suggestions-page without BACK-command... Maybe you could insert a path. kivi@phoenix.oulu.fi

We must have more pictures of the chef. tm731988@oak.cats.ohiou.edu
How come your translation of the main page inserts bork, bork , borks, but I never get any when I translate my stuff?? It would be nice to have a few random ones in there now and then to save inserting them manually :-)
How about some sound files?!?!?!? BORK! BORK! BORK!!!!
I agree with all the suggestions so far (including the one from rough10.stir.ac.uk :-) but I don't think there are enough suggestions. I suggest we get more suggestions going here. (and more pictures of the chef, and a few sound files would be good too, not to mention the random BORK thrown in.) Oh yeah, and more onshtens, ze bershten splargslz.
This is great! My girlfriend and i were just mimicking the Swedish Chef a couple weeks ago. My only recommendation would be adding a "Beaker" page with some some pictures and sounds.
A little spark of humour in the darkness of the Internet. Had a good laugh on this... D. Hamm
I think the muppet's should still be on and the www should have a really good picture of you on the first page

I think I have swedish chef sound sitting on my computer at home. I am neither at home nor on my computer, but if you mail me at csilvers@cs.stanford.edu to remind me I'll try to look it up. craig
HEY!!! Remember Croonchy Stars?? Sweedy's official cereal.....you just GOTTA find an old box from that to scan.....if you don't have one i think i still have onbe i can spare.....they were part of the decor in my bedroom at one point. anyway the cereal shoould be discussed here..... also THe muppet family christmas--in my opinion the chef was brilliant (I can quote his speeches and songs from that one. of i must also suggest mpegs, but i have no idea what is involved in getting mpegs on here, so oh well....i should read the newsgroup before i write more, wurprising ly i never have
oh, btw-- that last (typo-full) suggestion was from me: Scott Russell Cheek cheek@scf.usc.edu
I still say we need more suggestions here.
Recipes please...especially chicken in the basket...Shaq-style.
Please convert to SWEEEDISH before reading ;) I just went out on the net to have a little breather, and suddenly something catches my eyes, it was that loveble SWEEDISH Chef, who was starring right back at me with thouse firm but gentle eyes. I whipede away the tears a rushed on to get the SWEEDISH version of the text, and doing so, i was overwhelmed by memories long forgotten. This is the best use of modern tecnology seen to man kind, since the invention of the fear-o-sensors, ill try to think of some suggestions, but its difficult to improve perfection ps. Sorry about the spelling, but i was born in a "Press here for spell-check" period of Time. Yours Truly Jesper Thorsager gc918412@gbar.dtu.dk
Create a way that the chef can interact with the person sending messages to him. trkearney@acad.ursinus.edu
I think it would be very cool if you could set up a way to send "postcards" over the internet with the swedish chef incorporating images of the chef, and translation into chef-speak that could be sent to anyone with an e mail account that also supported images. What do you think?? janelleloe@wsu.edu
I think that the Chef is really good, but how about extending the muppet theme. Why not have Lews Zealands Bommerang fish home page, or the miserable old buggers reviews Neil Carter [ch4nbc@Bath.ac.uk]
I liked the chef postcard suggestion but I've not had a go
on an email program that supports images. Ive only got
elm here.
It could be possible to email the results from the chef to people.
I did have an mosaic mail interface that would let you send email to anyone
from anyone, but root said it was a security risk and so I had to remove it.
Good idea but unfortunately I dont think I could run it. [sac06@stir.ac.uk]
If you are using a UNIX system with the chef then try typing: tcsh | chef in your prompt :-)
this is the coolest thing i have seen in my entire life. -ray charles

A colleague and I have been testing the encheferizer on
other languages than English. You might be interested to
know that the program encheferizes Spanish, German, and
Japanese quite well. Transliterated Russian also produced
interesting results. The program had a bit more trouble with
French, because of all the letters that aren't pronounced.
I shudder to think what the encheferizer would do to
Irish or Scots Gaelic. Or Chinese. . . yeeek. . .
