Suggestion from :- coral.dstc.bond.edu.au Mon Jan 9 00:59:17 EST 1995

How come your translation of the main page inserts bork, bork , borks, but I never get any when I translate my stuff?? It would be nice to have a few random ones in there now and then to save inserting them manually :-)

Suggestion from :- maestro.mel.dbce.csiro.au Mon Jan 23 19:48:21 EST 1995

How about some sound files?!?!?!? BORK! BORK! BORK!!!!

Suggestion from :- maestro.mel.dbce.csiro.au Mon Jan 23 19:53:04 EST 1995

I agree with all the suggestions so far (including the one from rough10.stir.ac.uk :-) but I don't think there are enough suggestions. I suggest we get more suggestions going here. (and more pictures of the chef, and a few sound files would be good too, not to mention the random BORK thrown in.) Oh yeah, and more onshtens, ze bershten splargslz.

Suggestion from :- cs2-01.ior.com Tue Jan 31 20:05:48 EST 1995

This is great! My girlfriend and i were just mimicking the Swedish Chef a couple weeks ago. My only recommendation would be adding a "Beaker" page with some some pictures and sounds.

Suggestion from :- lvl-sun668.usc.edu Wed Feb 22 07:20:24 GMT 1995

HEY!!! Remember Croonchy Stars?? Sweedy's official cereal.....you just GOTTA find an old box from that to scan.....if you don't have one i think i still have onbe i can spare.....they were part of the decor in my bedroom at one point. anyway the cereal shoould be discussed here..... also THe muppet family christmas--in my opinion the chef was brilliant (I can quote his speeches and songs from that one. of i must also suggest mpegs, but i have no idea what is involved in getting mpegs on here, so oh well....i should read the newsgroup before i write more, wurprising ly i never have

Suggestion from :- srv1.gbar.dtu.dk Tue Mar 7 22:09:01 GMT 1995

Please convert to SWEEEDISH before reading ;) I just went out on the net to have a little breather, and suddenly something catches my eyes, it was that loveble SWEEDISH Chef, who was starring right back at me with thouse firm but gentle eyes. I whipede away the tears a rushed on to get the SWEEDISH version of the text, and doing so, i was overwhelmed by memories long forgotten. This is the best use of modern tecnology seen to man kind, since the invention of the fear-o-sensors, ill try to think of some suggestions, but its difficult to improve perfection ps. Sorry about the spelling, but i was born in a "Press here for spell-check" period of Time. Yours Truly Jesper Thorsager gc918412@gbar.dtu.dk

Suggestion from :- 198.17.40.73 Mon Mar 13 04:32:46 GMT 1995

Suggestion from :- hrc-10.engl.wsu.edu Wed Mar 15 00:24:37 GMT 1995

I think it would be very cool if you could set up a way to send "postcards" over the internet with the swedish chef incorporating images of the chef, and translation into chef-speak that could be sent to anyone with an e mail account that also supported images. What do you think?? janelleloe@wsu.edu

Suggestion from :- midge.bath.ac.uk Wed Mar 15 19:33:42 GMT 1995

I think that the Chef is really good, but how about extending the muppet theme. Why not have Lews Zealands Bommerang fish home page, or the miserable old buggers reviews Neil Carter [ch4nbc@Bath.ac.uk]

Suggestion from :- lira.cs.stir.ac.uk Thu Mar 16 16:19:34 GMT 1995

I liked the chef postcard suggestion but I've not had a go on an email program that supports images. Ive only got elm here.
It could be possible to email the results from the chef to people. I did have an mosaic mail interface that would let you send email to anyone from anyone, but root said it was a security risk and so I had to remove it.
Good idea but unfortunately I dont think I could run it. [sac06@stir.ac.uk]

Suggestion from :- info.diku.dk Wed Mar 22 00:14:37 GMT 1995

I've done some surfing on the net, but I have to admit I have never seen anything like the Swedish Chef Home Page. As a die-hard admirer of Jim Henson and the Muppets, I think your page is absolulty great. Your page, I think, keeps the memory of a truly great man alive and well. Best Wishes, Christopher D. A colleague and I have been testing the encheferizer on other languages than English. You might be interested to know that the program encheferizes Spanish, German, and Japanese quite well. Transliterated Russian also produced interesting results. The program had a bit more trouble with French, because of all the letters that aren't pronounced. I shudder to think what the encheferizer would do to Irish or Scots Gaelic. Or Chinese. . . yeeek. . . what a wonderful idea!!! Have you thought about writing a program for Janice? (She's the Kim Gordon look-alike in the band with Animal and those groovy 70's Muppets.) Or even a program for Animal?? Sort of like a shorter, meaner, Chewbacca?? In any case, this program is a wonderful idea. Keep developing it, and I will visit again.

No suggestion, just, thank you. Swedish Chef is my favorite character on the Muppet Show, and I think he was under- rated by a lot of the viewers, therefore, he was not on a lot. Thanx, Jer.

Those "corrupted" .au files play back undistorted IF you set your playback software to two's-complement format. SoundMachine on the Macintosh allowed me to do this. Oh, the files are 11.1-KHz, also. -greg@tcp.com

List visitors in reverse chronological order so that they see their name at or near the top rather than "wasting" bandwidth waiting for their name to come up at the bottom. Really, I'm impressed by your list. I didin't wait for my name, though.
