Dennis Goldie and this years Festive celebrity -
top TV Show The Simpsons cartoon sensation Bart
Simpson when the countdown to Christmas 1999
begins in earnest with the BIG SWITCH ON of the
town centre's Christmas illuminations.
The perfect end
to a great days shopping begins at 4.00pm at the
Steeple in Falkirk High Street. Join the fun as
we "rock around the Christmas tree"

28th NovemberACCESSIBLE SHOPPING DAY
A great day out
for all the family, with an emphasis on elderly
and disabled shopers. Enjoy your Christmas
shopping away from the hustle and bustle of
Saturdays on this special ACCESSIBLE SHOPPING
SUNDAY. There wil be special facilities for our
elderly and disabled shoppers such as the popular
Shopmobility scheme located with Calendar Square
car park.

VERY SPECIAL SHOPPING EVENING EVENT
An
exclusive shopping evening in Falkirk town
centre, in the way of a big thank you to all our
customers.
Many
of the town's stores have joined together to
create a very special shopping evening. Some
stores will offer their customers a hugh 10%
discount off goods purchased on the evening,
others will have special promotions and even
competitions.

Leading
stores both large ans small located throughout
the town including Boots The Chemist, Marks &
Spencer, BHS amd TK Maxx as well as the Howgate
and Callendar Square Shopping Centres, will stay
open exclusively for this Special Shopping
Evening Event.

Falkirk
Children's Theatre 29th annual panto presentation
this Christmas is the perennial favourite
Cinderella. However, it's been given the 21st
Century treatment.
Tickets are
going quickly, so next time you're in the town
centre pop into the Steeple Ticket Booking Office
in the High Street and book your seats
(alternatively telephone bookings by credit card,
can be made by calling 01324 506850 during
opening hours). Tickets £6.50 and £5.00 for
concessions.

Falkirk Model
Railway Club are holding their annual exhibition
in Falkirk College on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th
December 10am- 5pm both days - over 15 working
layouts and 20 trade stands - all
welcome.

5th DecemberTHE ELECTRICAL CHRISTMAS
PARADE
The sensation of
last year's town centre Christmas events
programme is back again to entertain families
shopping in Falkirk on Sunday 5th.

| The Electric
Parade features a colourfukl procession of
sounds, lights and festive music highlighting a
large cast of performers and festive tableau
featuring Santa Claus, and Fabulous Crazy Bears
and Frosty The Snowman. After an afternoon
shopping, don't miss this spectacular event
starting at 4.00pm from the east end of the High
Street, all the way down to Cockburn Street in
the west end.
Please note
- as the parade travels down the length of the
High Street, there is no vantage point better
than another.

12th DecemberRUDOLPH, DONNER, BLIXEN
and SANTA
Rudolph and
friends make their annual visit to Falkirk Town
Centre. Make a special note on your calendar to
visit the town centre to see the live Aviemore
reindeer in the specially penned off area between
2 and 4pm.
