Falkirk, located exactly half way between Scotland's two main
cities is termed as a 'sub-regional' shopping centre. Over the
past ten years, the town has developed into one of the country's
leading retail centres, and currently features very prominently
near the top of the Investment Property Database, and the
Scottish retail performance league tables.
In 1988, Falkirk lead the way by employing Scotland's first Town
Centre Manager and by introducing the first Public / Private
Sector partnership Town Centre Management Company. Since then,
the Company's structure and remit are now being emulated
throughout the country.
Since its inception, the Company has achieved a reputation both
locally and nationally as a thriving and innovative organisation.

To make Falkirk Town Centre the best of its kind in Scotland, and
to ensure that it competes as effectively as possible with its
rivals.
In pursuing these aims, the Company will contribute towards
the wider goals of stimulating the local economy, enhancing the
image of the Falkirk area, and helping to improve the quality of
life of the local population.
