Welcome to this the third annual Falkirk International Food Festival, a fun event which brings together the very best in hotels, restaurants, and food shops in the Falkirk area in a celebration of good food.

This year, following in the footsteps of Loyd Grossman and Brian Turner, Scottish chef, writer and TV personality Nick Nairn will pay a visit to the Festival at main sponsors, Beancross Restaurant, at around noon on Saturday 24th July.

Come along and see him in person where he will be signing copies of his book Wild Harvest.
We are once again most grateful to all the sponsors of this event for their assistance and encouragement, and on behalf of them, and the many fabulous participating businesses, may we take this opportunity to welcome you to this year's Falkirk International Food Festival.

The third annual Falkirk International Food Festival takes place this year between the 22nd and 31st July. As in the two previous years, the Festival will feature dozens of culinary events being staged in the area's many fine restaurants, pubs, hotels, takeaways and shops.

The Festival will feature the anual open air event in Falkirk High Street on Saturday 24th July where a number of local businesses will give away free tastings of food to shoppers in the town. One of the highlights of last year's Festival was a version of Ready Steady Cook which was staged in the town's Callendar Square Shopping Centre, with the head chefs from two of the area's hotels battling it out for culinary supremacy. This popular event will be repeated this year also on Saturday 24th.

There are many events and promotions to whet your appetite in the varied programme of events. We hope you have a great time visiting the Falkirk area - Enjoy!
