The Falkirk area is gaining a reputation forr having some of the finest eating and drinking places in Central Scotland, so much so that the area now stages it's annual International Food Festival every July when dozens of local establishments join together in a celebration of good cooking and fun. Guest 'foody' celebrities who have visited Falkirk during the Festival have included journalist Loyd Grossman and chefs Brian Turner and Nick Nairn.
